Battlefield 3 Server Feedback
It makes no sense to have a Battlefield 3 Server unless the people playing the game actually like how it's setup.
We believe the only way to run a successful server is to do so based off input from players like you hence the reason for this topic.
If you have any level of feedback you'd like to share about our Fragtard.net Battlefield 3 Server, please do so in this topic.
We ask you please understand that all suggestions are carefully weighed and acted upon whenever possible however we do try to make incremental changes rather than highly visible sweeping changes. We find ourselves currently running a very new and un-established server so we'd hate to scare away even the small amount of players our server currently attracts.

Re: Battlefield 3 Server Feedback
Could the autokick be set closer to 10 minutes? Would be much appreciated for us that sometimes need to go for afk for more than a few min.

Re: Battlefield 3 Server Feedback
I'm not sure we've decided on what value to use atm to be perfectly honest? Initially we had it set as low as 4 minutes but soon realized that wasn't long enough for people to grab a drink, take a p1ss, etc., so we moved it back to the 5 minute default.
I'm not so sure that we'd go as high as 10 minutes off the hop but we can look at 8 or so to start and see if it gets abused. If we don't have a bunch of idle players at the bottom of the players lists, then we'll look to raise it even higher.
What we're worried about is people connecting and not playing which both Wappy and I have seen on numerous other servers.
The other thing that concerns us are quick, major changes. I'm sure we've all seen typically busy servers go dead one day and never bounce back. For this reason, any changes we make are usually small changes so we can properly determine what our tipping point is and adjust for the sweet spot.
I see there are a few people on the Server atm so when it is completely dead tonight, I'll adjust the value to 8 mins and we'll see how it goes.
Thanks for the feedback Smack

General help
The MGC Chatbox Evo is really easy to use
You can :
You can :
- Send chats : you just have to enter the text in the dedicated input field and then to validate it by pushing the return key ou by clicking on the OK button.
- Format the chats : once you un-collapse the chatbox formatting toolbar by clicking on the BBCode button, you have access to different formatting options for your chats. You can format a chat by selecting a part (or the totality) of it and then select one of the buttons/list. You can also add empty formatting tags by selecting nothing and clicking one of the buttons/menu thus allowing you to add the chat text afterwards between these tags.*
- Access to the different channels : you can have access to different channels restricted to only some usergroupds or for specifics use of the chatbox. The different channels are accessible from the buttons on the left of the chatbox.*
- Edit your chats (or others chats) : the edition of a chat can be done by a simple double-click on it.*
- Use specific commands : some commands can be accessible in the chatbox depending on the will of the administrator(s) of your forum. These commands let you execute specific actions of formatting, management, etc... You will herebelow the information on the command which are accessible to you. You must notice that you are not forced to use the command prefixes (/command_name) when you use them in the channel they are attached to (except in the general channel).*
